Nefer opens bright and closes warm. Egyptian jasmine absolute sits over labdanum and a dry, unsweetened cedar, with a thread of pink pepper in the first ten minutes that keeps it from turning heavy.
It is blended in batches of three hundred bottles and left to macerate for six weeks before filling, which is why it smells settled rather than sharp when it reaches you.
How it wears
Six to eight hours on skin, closer to a day on cotton. It sits near the body rather than filling a room — reapply at the wrists if you want it noticed.
