Top: pink pepper, bergamot. Heart: Egyptian jasmine absolute, orange blossom. Base: labdanum, cedar, benzoin. Pink pepper holds the first ten minutes; labdanum and cedar close it.

I want to be fair: it is beautifully made and the opening is gorgeous. But on my skin it is gone in about three hours, and for the price I expected longer. Perhaps I am the wrong skin for it. The 50ml was still worth trying.

Three hours is shorter than we would expect — dry skin drinks an eau de parfum quickly, and a little unscented balm on the pulse points before spraying usually buys a few more hours.
