Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm your order — for cash-on-delivery orders, when our team reaches you by telephone to confirm. Until then we may decline an order, including if a price or stock figure was shown wrongly.

Prices

Prices are in Egyptian pounds and are the final amount payable for the goods. Delivery is shown separately at checkout and added to the total. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies to your order is the one shown when you placed it.

Payment

Payment is currently taken in cash on delivery. You pay the courier the full order total, including delivery, when the parcel is handed over. You may inspect the goods before paying and may refuse delivery, in which case no payment is due.

Delivery

We deliver within Egypt only. Delivery windows on our shipping page are estimates and not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Cancellation and returns

You may cancel an order at any time before it is dispatched by writing to us. After delivery, our returns policy applies and forms part of these terms.

Faults

Goods are sold as described. Where an item is faulty we will repair, replace or refund it. Natural change in materials — leather darkening, linen creasing, unlacquered silver toning — is not a fault.

Intellectual property

The My Elega name, the rosette mark, our product photography and the text on this site belong to us and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
