How cash on delivery works
You pay the courier in cash when the parcel reaches you. Nothing is taken before then, and there is no fee for paying this way.
Three things worth knowing:
We call to confirm. Someone from our team rings the mobile number on your order before it ships. If we cannot reach you on two attempts across two days we hold the order rather than send it out, so please give a number you answer.
Have the amount ready. Couriers rarely carry change for large notes. The exact total is in your confirmation email and on your invoice.
Check before you pay. You are entitled to open the parcel and look at what is inside before handing over the money. If it is not what you ordered, refuse it — you owe nothing and we will sort it out.
Where we deliver
All 27 governorates. We do not ship outside Egypt yet.
Nearest landmark
The checkout asks for a landmark near your address. It is not a formality — street addressing in much of Egypt is inconsistent enough that couriers navigate by landmarks, and an order with one arrives noticeably more often than an order without.
Tracking
You will get a message when the parcel is handed to the courier. You can also check an order at any time with your order number and email address.
If something goes wrong
Write to us at orders@myelega.com with your order number. We would rather hear about a late parcel from you than not at all.
